yay for better days.
better today than yesterday, and hopefully tomorrow will be better than today.
i woke up this morning, after going to bed reallly late last night, and decided that i didn't want to go to work. not such a big deal since i work for my dad and my position was basically created for me and isn't really much of anything. it was raining and i was exhausted, plus i had to be somewhere at noon anyway. so i ran home from house sitting and crawled back in the bed with my babies curled up on each side of me. they are scared of storms and tend to get extra-cuddly when it's raining, but i like to pretend they secretly just love me more on those days!
after sleeping in until almost 11, i got up and got dressed to go to my first acupuncture appointment.
acupuncture was neat! i was really nervous at first about the possible pain, sharing my medical history, having my scars exposed, etc, but it went better than i expected.
first, acupuncture doesn't hurt! i only felt one little tiny pinch from one needle and that was it. it was actually a feeling of relief!
second, giving my medical history was not nearly as nerve-wracking as i expected. actually, the girl doing my intake assessment told me she had been a gymnast for years and had been through all the aspects of eating disorders. it really helped me to feel less awkward and abnormal.
third, no mention of my scars was ever made, thank goodness. it didn't even feel awkward!
i'm already starting to notice a difference in my anxiety...woo!
came home and went back to sleep! i know, but i was just so tired!!
once my parents got home from work we went to old navy, target, and out to dinner. i was so excited because i had a 40 dollar gift card to old navy and ended up getting 7 items and only spending 5.42 of my own money!
and i got shrimp for dinner, so i am a happy girl :)
the weekend is looking pretty lax and calm.
getting ready for a garage sale, cleaning up my room, crocheting, getting outside some, and working on getting my tan on.
thats about it for now :)
lots of love,
LB <3
